Public artwork that inhabits the side of buildings throughout downtown Joplin; some inspired by the devistation of the May 22, 2011 tornado, while others embrace the deep rooted history of the city, and of course, it wouldn't be complete without including Route 66.  It's worth the time to stop and take in the delicate details that are portrayed from the minds of the local artists.  Follow the links below to see more.

So much to choose from!  Here are a few of our "local" favorites (always support local businesses, PLEASE!!), but I've also included a link below that includes the franchises as well.  Many local restaurants are closed on Sunday, so please inquire before heading out.  BON APPETIT!

• Mythos Euro Greek Kuzina -  One of our FAVORITES!!  They have mastered the elegance and flavor of fine dining, with a casual-welcoming atmosphere.  Let me suggest the Spicy Feta Dip and Roasted Tomato Cream Soup...you WON'T be disappointed!!

• Red Onion Cafe - Another favorite!  Casual urban dining at its best since 1995 with two locations in Joplin, MO, one in Galena, KS and another in Bentonville, AR.

• Hackett Hot Wings - Relaxed Memphis-style joint specializing in 13 flavors of chicken wings & Southern specialties.  A recent remodel expanded their seating and added extra comforts for the sports enthusiast. Located in the heart of Downtown Joplin at 520 S. Main.

• MOJO Burger Co. - Their website says it best, "We're your locally owned number one choice for fresh made burgers and fries. Where else can you go to get fresh burgers and hand cut fries, awesome chili products, and then make them your own with our HUGE topping list! So come on out and GET YOUR MOJO ON!"
